Beckett Robertson is a recent high school graduate whose love of insects began whilst growing up in Hong Kong and Canada. He was awarded Highly Commended Youth Age 15 - 17 in the most prestigious wildlife photography competition in the world - the Natural History Museum Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition 61. His image of an amblypygid was awarded one of the top 100 images out of over 60,000 global submissions in 2025. He was also the 2022 Grand Prize Winner in the Royal Ontario Museum’s Junior Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition and received an Honourable Mention in the same competition in 2023. He has photographed insects all over the world, including in Canada, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Singapore, Thailand and the United States. He was a Digitization Technician in the Entomology Department at the Royal Ontario Museum during the summer of 2023 and is an aspiring entomologist.
